November 9, 2023, we held Exciting Class at Koyo Elementary School. We introduced police activities: police work , police equipments, and forensic experience and so on.
Police Station Tour for Ozora Elementary School pupils
November 6, 2023, Ozora Elementary School pupils come to Misawa Police Station as a part of social studies class. They learned about police activities , police equipments and had a riding experience of a police car.

Fictitious billing fraud with about 14 million yen in damage has occurred in Misawa city.

Traffic Accident Prevention Activity on the spot of the Fatal Traffic Accident
On July 22nd, 2023, there was a fatal traffic accident that a light truck
collided with a large motorcycle in our jurisdiction, and the driver of the
motorcycle died.
Because of this, officers of Misawa Police Station distributed flyers
written on the outline and important points of the accident to passing
vehicles and pedestrians for the prevention of future occurrence.
Activity of MISAWA Boys and Girls for Traffic safety
On July 28th, 2023, members of the Misawa Boys and Girls for Traffic
safety visited police facilities located at Aomori city during summer vacation.
They visited communication command division, traffic control center and
traffic Mobile unit. Besides learning about the 110 call system and the
role of the Traffic control center. They observed police motor cycle riding
training, with this they are expected to raise awareness of crime prevention
and traffic safety in the future.
Presentation Ceremony of Police Dog Certificate
On July 6th, 2023, we granted certificates to Aomori prefectual police dogs and police dog handlers. Five dogs (4 German Shepherds, 1 Collie) and four handlers are commissioned this fiscal year. They will be dispatched to a wide variety of activities such as incidents, accidents, and searching for missing people. We appreciate their work.
MISAWA Boys and Girls for Traffic Safety Entrance Ceremony
On June 28th, 2023, we held MISAWA Boys and Girls for Traffic Safety Entrance Ceremony for 44 elementary school students with people involved at Misawa police station (9 students out of 44 students were absent). They are going to make posters to prevent car accidents and join traffic safety parades at festivals.

On April 24, 2023, Aomori Prefectural Game Industry Cooperation presented
MISAWA Boys and Girls for Traffic Safety with support goods: the uniforms
when they wear in their activities.
We hope that their activities will enhance the prevention of car accidents
in Misawa city.
